Prayer Bill Nightmare

I’m not against religion.
I’m not against prayer.
I’m not against free speech.

I’m against

the school prayer
bill which passed Thursday.

It is a nightmare.

It is not a good idea.

Such a policy

risks religious bullying,
taxpayer dollars defending
lawsuits, divisive battles erupting,
and distractions from educating.

And why? Just to see

how close they
can get to reinstating
school prayer
without the Supreme Court saying
“No way.”
