disoriented
male black bears
ambling into Central Florida’s
urban areas.
Young
bears
pushed
outby more dominant males
carving out territory
ahead of breeding season
Teenaged
bears
moving
outof their wooded abodes,
wandering along
trying to find new homes.
Young
lost men,
hormones
raging, thrown out by the big dogs.
Roving vagabonds,
in the metro area.
People should be cautious, but not terrified. If you spot a
black bear, leave the animal alone and call wildlife officials. The bears will
be tranquilized, tagged, and released into Ocala National Forest.
