War Casulaties

Army Staff Sergeant Alexander G. Povilaitis,
died in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan
of wounds suffered after the enemy attacked
with an improvised explosive device.

Army Specialist Geraldo Campos

died in Malward, Afghanistan
after enemy forces attacked
his unit with small arms fire.

Army Private First Class Vincent J. Ellis

died in Salerno, Afghanistan
when enemy forces attacked
his unit with improvised explosive devices
and small arms fire.

We forget that United States soldiers are still fighting and dying in Afghanistan.  These are just three of the eight names released by the military in the past week. They ranged in age from 21 to 49, but six of the eight were under 25.
