werepanthers, shape-shifters,
witches, mediums,
demons, fairies,
and even
the occasional boring human
in fictional Bon Temps
Louisiana.

Plenty of soapy

supernatural drama.
Cartoony.
Violent.
Grim.
Vampires—the shadowy threat.
Vampires—in our midst.
Vampires—the fangs are out.

I’m a big fan of HBO’s “True Blood.”  What new monsters await us this season?
