Go On

Stand

beneath the moon

and stars.

The stillness.

The solitude.

This is the time

To connect with the cosmos.

This came from the comic strip “Rose is Rose,” my favorite comic strip.  In the strip, Jimbo often enjoys a garbage moment, out late at night, putting out the trash. I enjoy that small simple moment too.  It’s a  feeling I never had living in New York City, going down the hall to throw the trash into the incinerator chute.
