Plane Hits Supermarket

At Publix,
an airplane dropped
out of the sky
into the meat department.

It exploded in the store.

Five people hurt,
two seriously.

The plane crashed

into Publix.

A small single-engine plane,

spiraling down,
through the roof
and exploding.

A swirling noise.

The ground shaking.
Fire and smoke.

The plane crashed

into Publix.

In the “Wizard of Oz” a house falls on a witch.  You expect that. No one ever expects a plane to fall on shoppers at Publix.  Luckily, no one died.

P.S. Publix is a chain of supermarkets in Florida.
