A
day to reflect
on
the selfless service
of
brave men and women
who
chose to defend this great nation,
who
risk their lives,
who
protect the freedoms
that
Americans cherish.
Veterans
are proud of the service
they
give to their country.
A
simple thank you
will
put a smile on their faces.
I remember the
little paper red poppies we used to wear on Veteran’s Day. Do people still do that?
