Shine Bright Tonight

It’s a great night
for stargazers, lovers,
and werewolves.

A super moon
will rise on the horizon
tonight.

A full moon,

making its closest
approach to Earth.

A full moon,

bigger and brighter
than usual.

A full moon,

big and beautiful
all night long.

A big moon,

wherever you are,
you can see it.

Tonight, the moon will rise at 7:42 pm., become a full moon at 11.25 pm, and become a super moon at 11:50 pm. The moon will appear 16% bigger and 30% brighter as it makes its closest approach to Earth in 2012, only 221,802 miles away.
