The Farmer's Market

I always overbuy at the farmer’s market.
I am just happier with a fridge full of vegetables.

Onions, eggplants, squash,
tomatoes, potatoes, and more.

I stir these vegetables  
into salads, soups, and pastas,
sandwich fillings, scrambled eggs, and frittatas.

For a gourmet dinner,
for great flavor—
The vegetables I love so much.

Vegetables are bountiful in the market now. My garden is still producing Japanese eggplants and green peppers—the other vegetables will have to for the Fall season for replanting. In Florida, we get to have two harvests.
