Mermaids

There is no evidence Mermaids have ever existed.
Mermaids are the Sasquatch of the sea.
They just don’t exist.

Half-human half-fish creatures

Inhabit only the imagination,
Not the ocean.

Mermaid legends have existed

Since the start of recorded history.
The ancient Greek poet Homer
Wrote of mermaids in the Odyssey.

Nonetheless,

There is no scientific evidence

Merrmaids exist today
Or have ever existed.

Mermaids?

Never
Happened!

Uh-Oh.  I think Ariel, the littlest mermaid, is going to take this news hard. 

 

Seriously, the things people will believe.  The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration had to pronounce mermaids non-existent because the Animal Planet network aired a show claiming that they did exist. 

First the Zombie Apocalypse and now this.  Get a grip, people.
