Obama on the Road

President Barack Obama:
 

Refining his stump speech,

Giving it over and over,
Buffing and polishing it,
Joshing with the audience,
Riffing off what he sees,
Interweaving family stories with political points
Building to a swell of cheering,
Receiving sustained applause.

The heart of the stump speech:

“This is about two very different visions of America.”

Americans should listen carefully.

Republicans are fond of saying that reelecting Obama will give us an America you won’t recognize.  This is their typical tactic of projecting their own faults on to Obama.  Bush nearly destroyed this country, Romney and his cronies will finish the job if they get the chance.
