The teenaged years—
A time of angst,
bad decisions,
hormones.
coming-of-age melodrama.

The church-going young

want answers from God.
“Are you there?”
“Are you there?”
they implore in prayer.

God doesn’t answer.

 

One of the difficulties of the teenaged years is the realization that your parents and other adults in your life don’t necessarily have all the answers.  You have to learn to think for yourself.
